Terms and conditions of use

The terms that govern access to and use of CreativeStar: the account, subscriptions, payments, the licence for the videos you export and the free tools.

October 12, 2026

1. Provider

The CreativeStar service (the "Platform") is operated by CreativeStar, based in Spain.

2. Purpose and acceptance

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Platform, which lets users configure, generate and export motion graphics animations using software tools and visual assets provided by the Platform.

By creating an account or using the service, the user accepts these terms. Acceptance is collected clearly before purchase or first use where applicable.

The commercial terms of each plan, the information shown during checkout and Polar’s applicable terms form part of the contractual context of the subscription. In case of conflict, mandatory rules and the consumer’s non-waivable rights prevail.

3. Access requirements and account

The service is intended exclusively for people aged 18 or over who can validly enter into contracts under applicable law.

The user agrees to provide truthful information and keep up to date the data needed to manage their account and subscriptions.

Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Sharing credentials, letting others use an individual account, or selling, renting or transferring access without the Platform’s express permission is prohibited.

The user must keep their credentials confidential and report through the support channels any unauthorised access they become aware of.

The Platform may request reasonable verification when there are signs of fraud, account sharing or a security risk.

4. The service

The Platform offers tools to customise and generate animations using its engine, templates, components and visual assets.

The current plans, prices, features, usage limits and export formats are published on the pricing page (https://creativestar.store/en/pricing) and shown again before the purchase is confirmed.

The Platform may carry out maintenance, updates and technical improvements. Where reasonably possible, scheduled interruptions that significantly affect the service will be announced in advance.

Uninterrupted availability or a specific render time is not guaranteed unless a specific obligation has been expressly undertaken. This does not exclude the user’s legal rights for lack of conformity, breach or interruptions attributable to the provider.

5. Free website tools

The free tools on the website are provided as they are. They run in the user’s browser and are not guaranteed to be always available or free of bugs.

Third-party brands and assets they work with (Minecraft, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Adobe) belong to their owners. CreativeStar is not affiliated with any of them, and the tools are for making content, not for impersonating anyone.

6. Free trial and subscription

When a plan includes a free trial, it lasts three (3) days and is subject to the conditions shown during sign-up and checkout.

Activating the trial requires a payment method through Polar, unless a specific promotion expressly says otherwise.

When the offer includes automatic conversion, the paid subscription starts when the trial ends unless the user has cancelled before.

Before accepting the trial, the user is clearly and prominently informed of:

  • The exact length of the trial.
  • The price that applies once it ends.
  • The billing frequency of the subscription.
  • The date or expected time of the first charge.
  • How to cancel before conversion.
  • The essential renewal terms.

The user authorises the corresponding recurring charges by completing checkout and accepting the payment terms presented by Polar.

The Platform will not apply an automatic conversion that has not been properly disclosed and accepted through the corresponding checkout process.

7. Prices, payments and taxes

Prices, currency, billing frequency and applicable taxes are shown before the purchase is confirmed.

Payments and invoicing for transactions handled through Polar are governed by the checkout process and Polar’s applicable terms. In those transactions, Polar acts as Merchant of Record and seller of record.

The founder pack is a one-time payment that gives access to every feature of the Max plan until the Platform’s public launch, under the conditions shown when buying it.

The Platform will not ask the user to pay separately for a transaction already processed by Polar, unless an express contractual basis and procedure apply.

Information on prices, taxes and additional charges is presented before the user is bound by the purchase.

8. Renewals and price changes

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless the user cancels before the renewal.

The renewal frequency and amount are those shown at purchase and in the subscription information available to the user.

If prices change, the Platform will announce the change sufficiently in advance and explain when it takes effect. The user can cancel the renewal before the new price applies.

When the law or Polar’s terms require express acceptance of the new price, it will be requested before it applies.

Amounts for periods already paid are never changed retroactively.

9. Cancelling the subscription

The user can cancel the renewal from the subscription settings in their account or from Polar’s customer portal.

Unless a legal right to immediate termination applies, cancelling stops the next renewal and the user keeps access to paid features until the end of the period already paid.

Cancelling the renewal is not the same as deleting the account and does not immediately delete the related projects and data.

The Platform will keep the cancellation process clear, accessible and consistent with the process used to subscribe.

10. Withdrawal and refunds

As a general commercial policy, the Platform does not offer voluntary refunds for a simple change of mind outside the cases provided for by law.

This policy does not limit the consumer’s right of withdrawal, the rights arising from a lack of conformity of the service or any other non-waivable rights or remedies under applicable law.

The start of the service during the withdrawal period, the possible loss of that right and the consent and information requirements are handled according to the nature of the service and applicable law. Accepting these Terms is not in itself a general waiver of the right of withdrawal.

Refund requests are handled through Polar’s applicable process when the transaction was processed by Polar. Polar may apply its refund terms, payment network rules and the relevant law.

Having made an export does not automatically exclude all the refund or repair rights the user is legally entitled to.

If a technical issue attributable to the Platform prevents the use of an essential feature or produces defective results, the problem will be investigated and an appropriate solution offered. This may include fixing the error, re-running a render, extending the service, reducing the price, terminating the contract or a refund where legally due.

11. Usage limits

Each subscription is subject to the limits published for the plan on the pricing page: depending on the plan, renders per month, maximum resolution, export formats, saved projects, uploaded images, simultaneous exports, render queue priority and how many days exports are kept.

The user may not circumvent usage limits, create accounts to avoid restrictions, tamper with metering systems or use technical means to obtain features not included in their subscription.

Any fair use policy will be clear, objective and consistent with the advertised features of the plan.

12. Licence for exported videos

Subject to compliance with these Terms and the conditions of the plan purchased, the Platform grants the user a licence to use the final videos they legitimately generate and export.

As a rule, this licence allows the final videos to be used for personal or commercial purposes, including publishing them on video platforms, social networks, marketing campaigns and client work.

The licence is limited to the rights the Platform is able to grant. It does not guarantee exclusivity, absolute originality or ownership of third-party elements that may be included in the result.

The user is responsible for holding the necessary permissions for the content they provide and for respecting third-party rights in how they use the final video.

Ending a subscription does not in itself revoke the licence granted for videos legitimately exported during the authorised period, unless a valid legal or contractual reason justifies otherwise.

13. Intellectual property of the Platform

The animation engine, software, interface, templates, visual assets, components, designs, documentation, trademarks and other elements of the Platform belong to their owner or their respective licensors.

Paying for a subscription does not transfer ownership of the software, templates or original assets to the user.

Unless expressly authorised, it is prohibited to:

  • Resell, sublicense, publish or distribute the original templates and assets on their own.
  • Offer the Platform’s assets as a competing library, product or service.
  • Systematically extract or redistribute protected assets, components or content.
  • Remove intellectual property notices or legitimate protection measures.
  • Copy or exploit the animation engine outside the uses allowed by the licence.

These restrictions do not prevent using, publishing or delivering to a client the final video allowed by the licence.

Nothing in this clause excludes copyright exceptions or limitations that are mandatory under the law.

14. Content and settings provided by the user

The user keeps whatever rights they hold over the text, images, parameters and other content they enter into the Platform.

The user grants the Platform only the permissions needed to host, process, technically reproduce and use that data to provide the service, run renders, maintain security and handle incidents.

These permissions are not a general authorisation to sell the user’s content or to use it for the Platform’s own advertising.

The user declares that they hold the rights or permissions needed to use the content they provide and that its use does not infringe third-party rights or applicable law.

The Platform does not use user content to train artificial intelligence models.

15. Prohibited uses

It is prohibited to use the Platform to:

  • Access accounts, systems, networks or data without authorisation.
  • Try to circumvent access controls, subscription limits or security measures.
  • Introduce malware, carry out attacks or deliberately interfere with the availability of the service.
  • Reverse engineer it to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
  • Extract, copy, steal, resell or redistribute protected assets without authorisation.
  • Share accounts or credentials against these terms.
  • Carry out unlawful activities or infringe third-party rights.
  • Impersonate others, commit fraud or deliberately tamper with billing or usage metering systems.

The Platform may take reasonable technical measures to prevent, investigate and respond to such behaviour.

16. Suspension and termination

When there are reasonable signs of intrusion, fraud, theft of assets, unauthorised mass extraction or serious security threats, the Platform may immediately suspend access temporarily to contain the risk.

For other breaches, the severity, impact and possibility of correcting the behaviour will be weighed. Where appropriate, a warning may be sent or time given to correct it.

Permanent termination may apply in serious or repeated cases, in accordance with these terms and applicable law.

The Platform will try to explain the reasons for a suspension or termination when legally and reasonably possible, without compromising security investigations or revealing information that would help further attacks.

Suspension or termination does not automatically mean losing all amounts paid. Payments, refunds and claims will be assessed under the law, Polar’s applicable terms and the circumstances of the incident.

17. Availability, incidents and support

Technical support is provided by email at [email protected].

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, no specific response or resolution time is guaranteed.

The Platform will make reasonable efforts to investigate reported incidents and fix reproducible errors. The user is advised to give enough information to identify the problem, without including passwords, credentials or unnecessary data.

Technical support from the Platform is separate from the transactional support Polar may provide for payments, charges, cancellations or refunds.

18. Data protection and privacy

The processing of personal data is described in the CreativeStar Privacy policy, available at https://creativestar.store/en/legal/privacy.

The user should read that policy to learn about the purposes of processing, legal bases, providers, retention periods and the rights they can exercise.

19. Liability

The Platform provides the service with due diligence and in accordance with applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, the Platform is not liable for damage arising from unauthorised use, from the user’s infringement of third-party rights or from failures caused solely by external systems beyond its control.

The Platform does not exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded, including consumers’ mandatory rights, applicable legal obligations and remedies for a lack of conformity of the service.

Nothing in this clause limits the user’s rights in cases of wilful misconduct, gross negligence or other cases where an exclusion is not legally allowed.

20. Changes to the service and to these Terms

The Platform may update its features and these Terms for legal, technical or security reasons or as the product evolves.

Material changes will be announced reasonably in advance where applicable. If a change affects the financial terms or essential elements of the contract, the rights to information, acceptance, cancellation and other required safeguards will be respected.

The current version shows its update date. Retroactive changes that harm acquired rights will not apply where the law does not allow them.

21. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the mandatory rules that apply according to the user’s residence and the nature of the contract.

Where the user is a consumer, this clause does not deprive them of the protection or the courts they are entitled to under applicable rules.

The parties may try to settle claims amicably through [email protected]. Using this channel does not limit the right to go to the competent administrative bodies, dispute resolution mechanisms or courts.

22. Contact

For support, legal matters or privacy, the user can write to [email protected].

23. Final provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay valid to the extent permitted by law.

The Platform not exercising a right does not mean it waives that right.

These Terms do not exclude or reduce the rights that applicable law grants the user on a mandatory basis.
