What is a Minecraft chibi?

A chibi is a cute, big-headed version of a character. Here your own Minecraft skin becomes a small pixel art sprite: a huge head with your full face, a short body and stubby limbs, so your player is easy to recognise even as a tiny emote.

Pixel art from eight angles

Drag the preview or use the slider to see the chibi from the front, three quarters, the side or the back, and frame all of it or a close-up. Six finishes change its colours: natural, pastel, cel, gold, neon and mono.

Poses and emote loops for creators

Thirty-one poses and twenty-seven animations made for streams and videos: Hi chat, Hype, Shook, AFK, Rage, LOL, Vibing, Button mash, Floss, Moonwalk and more. The loops repeat with no jump, so they work as GIF emotes or WebM overlays.

Ready for your channel

Download a square PNG from 256 to 2048 pixels, transparent or on a colour, or an animation as GIF or WebM with a see-through background. Everything is drawn in your browser.

Type your Java username and press Search, or upload your skin PNG (you can also drop it on the preview). The chibi shows up right away; pick a pose or a loop and an angle, and download it.

Regular 64 × 64 skins, old 64 × 32 ones (the left arm and leg are built from the right ones, as the game does) and HD skins in powers of two like 128 × 128, reduced to 64 × 64 for the pixel art.

Some skins are painted for arms 3 pixels wide instead of 4. Auto reads it from your skin, and you can switch it if it guessed wrong.

Yes. The Animation tab has twenty-seven emote loops. Download one as a GIF or a WebM from the Download panel; poses with an effect (like AFK or Thinking) animate too.

Download a transparent PNG or GIF at 256 or 512 and upload it where the platform asks for emotes or stickers; they scale it down to the sizes they need.

No. The chibi is drawn in your browser, so an uploaded skin never leaves your computer. Searching by username only asks public skin services for that player's skin.
