Your skin, but tiny

Minecraft chibi maker

Type a Java username or drop your skin PNG and get a cute big-headed chibi of your player. Pose it, animate it, pick the angle and export it as pixel art, a profile picture or an animation. Everything runs in your browser.

What is a Minecraft chibi?

A chibi is a cute, big-headed version of a character. Here it is your own Minecraft skin on a tiny body: the head keeps its full face, the body and limbs are short and stubby, and every pixel still comes from your skin, so your player is recognizable at a glance.

Two styles: Classic and Minecraft Live

Classic draws a 24 × 33 pixel sprite with a head twice the body's size. Minecraft Live is the chunkier look from the yearly show: a 36 × 42 sprite with an even bigger head and inked outlines. Both work at native pixel size or in high res, where HD skins show all their detail.

Poses, animations and camera angles

Pick from 44 poses (sword, mining, eating, totem, pumpkin heads, crying, in love and more) or 57 looping animations such as walk, dance, gallop and backflip. Ten camera angles show it from the front, the side, the back or above, and the framing crops it to a portrait or just the head.

Ready for Discord, Twitch and YouTube

Export pixel art enlarged by whole numbers so it never blurs, a profile picture in square, wide or story shape, or a round avatar. Animations save as GIF, APNG or WebM with a transparent background, and sizes for Discord stickers, emoji and Twitch emotes are one click away.

Type your Java username and press Load, or upload your skin PNG (you can also drop it on the preview). The chibi appears right away; pick a style, a pose or an animation and export it.

Standard 64 × 64 skins, old 64 × 32 skins (the left arm and leg are built from the right ones, as the game does) and HD skins of power-of-two sizes such as 128 × 128. HD skins are drawn in high res so their detail shows.

Alex skins have arms 3 pixels wide instead of 4. Auto reads it from your skin (the dot marks its pick), and you can force either one if it guessed wrong.

Classic is a 24 × 33 sprite with a head twice the body's size and no ink. Minecraft Live is a chunkier 36 × 42 sprite with a much bigger head and inked outlines. Neither is a crop or a filter: each draws the figure at its own measures.

Yes: the Animation tab has 57 looping clips. Choose the speed there, then export the loop as a GIF, an APNG or a WebM from the Export panel. A sprite sheet with every clip is also one click away.

In the Export panel pick Profile picture or Round avatar and press one of the size presets: Discord sticker (320), emoji (128) or the three Twitch emote sizes (112, 56 and 28).

Yes. The Parts tab hides each body part and each outer layer (hat, jacket, sleeves and trousers) on its own. Show all parts brings everything back.

Use the settings button above the preview to copy or download a .json file with the skin and every setting. Drop it back in to pick up where you left off; one undo reverses an import.

No. The chibi is drawn in your browser, so an uploaded skin never leaves your computer. Loading by username only asks public skin services for that player's skin.
